Imran was a key part of Apple’s design team till 2017. He played an important role in the design of iPhone, iMac, iPad and Apple TV.

In the year 2018, he left Apple and started his own venture named Humane. This San Francisco startup has so far received funding of $230 million and the valuation of the company has reached $850 million (about Rs. 6 thousand crores). OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has 15 percent stake in this startup. Apart from this, leading companies like Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Microsoft, LG, Volvo and Qualcomm have also invested.
